A day with the ladies of Keystone Heights

On Tuesday, May 4th our Performance Dancers & Cheerleaders had the privilege of performing for the ladies of Keystone. We were invited nearly a month ago to perform at their monthly meeting. The girls were of course excited about being able to miss school to perform. However I was excited for a different reasons.
As a young girl dancing in Keystone Heights I was a member of the Lake Area Dance Company, as a member of the company I was able to perform at the very same place. So, many years later when my dancers and cheerleaders were invited to perform for them was something very special to me. And yes, back then I was equally excited about missing school to dance!!
I was so proud of my girls not only the way they danced but by their actions before and after they danced. They handled themselves with poise and class and were very thankful to the ladies for having them as guests. This made me so proud to say that I was their dance teacher!

Below are some pictures from that morning.
Girls -Great job adapting to such a small stage! And sorry all my "Prince" dancers, my camera battery died during your dance! But, you girls know how much I love you and that dance!
The girls have a week and then they have been asked to perform for a local church talent show and we can't wait!!!
